Please arrive in Italy at your leisure! We’d love to celebrate with you for any events you can make—just be sure to RSVP for the ones you plan to attend once you submit your Intent to Travel. We hope our wedding becomes a thrilling excuse to travel Italy or elsewhere.

We are in the process of securing a hotel block at Villa Porta and an additional block nearby for the rest of the guests. You will be notified when this is ready to be utilized. Additionally, There are fabulous places to stay all around the lake including luxury resorts and scenic Airbnbs.

We’re planning to set up transportation (like a shuttle or private bus) to make things easy for everyone! We’ll figure out what works best for our guests and share the details a little closer to the wedding.

Yes, we ask guests to elegant cocktail for the wedding day and elevated casual for the welcome party. Please note: black tie / tuxedos not required.

Elevated casual is a balance between casual and dressy - more polished than casual wear but not as formal as business or cocktail attire. Ladies, think midi or maxi dresses. Men, think pants and a button-down.

Both! The welcome party and wedding ceremony will take place outdoors, while the reception and other events will be indoors.

In mid-May, Lake Maggiore experiences mild to pleasantly warm spring weather. Temperatures generally range from mid-60s to low-70s.

1) Make sure you passport is not set to expire within 6 months of travel. 2) Italy uses euros, and almost every place takes credit cards (preferably Visa or MasterCard; Amex is not always accepted). 3) If you are renting a car, make sure to obtain an international driver's license. You can do this at most AAA locations. Also, many highways and city streets have cameras, so be sure you are not driving in restricted areas! You will get a ticket in the mail. 4) Electrical outlets in Italy differ from the US. Make sure to pick up a simple adapter on Amazon!
